At MacIntyre & Thomson we have access to some of the finest hunting terrain in Scotland, set amongst spectacular habitats and simply gorgeous scenery, which all makes for a very memorable and exciting hunting experience with Harris Hawks, for Rabbits, Hares and Pheasant.

Our unique arrangements with the most beautiful of Estates can place you within stunning scenery for an unforgettable Hawking session.

Fully equipped for your half day, full day, or 2 day Hawking experience – you don the jacket, boots, and falconer's glove, to take control of these most majestic and skilful hunters for an experience that will both fascinate and exhilarate.

You will be guided in the art of handling and flying these magnificent birds of prey by an expert, who will be with you throughout the session.

Amongst the variety of experiences on offer are;

• Introductory Lessons (2 hours) provide "hands on" experience in handling and flying a Harris hawk.
• An introductory lesson with hawking, combines basic techniques with hunting, (half day: 3 hours).
• An introductory lesson followed by a Full day: 6 hours - a hunting session during which guests fly Harris hawks at rabbits and some game birds in season.
• Hawking Breaks, (2 days), combining 2 nights' stay, including dinner, bed and breakfast, with an introductory lesson and a half day's hawking on day 1, and a day hunting on day 2.
